This recipe will add a touch of class to your table: king crab is considered a rare delicacy and has an intense seafood flavour.
Preparation: Simple
Time: approx. 20-40 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 Norwegian king crab legs (recommendation: our cooked, halved legs)
2 sprigs of thyme
1 sprig of rosemary
2 cloves of garlic
4 tbsp olive oil
1 pc. lemon
Preparation:
Defrost the frozen king crab legs overnight in the fridge. Wash the king crab legs and cut at the joints with kitchen scissors. Cut the pieces of king crab legs lengthways on both sides and cut the meat inside in half lengthways with a sharp knife.
Wash the thyme and rosemary, pat dry and pluck and finely chop the needles and leaves. Peel the garlic cloves and press into the olive oil. Mix the garlic oil with the chopped herbs.
Brush the crab meat with the herb and garlic oil and cook on the barbecue over an indirect heat for about 8-10 minutes. Brush with the herb and garlic oil again during the grilling time.
Wash and dry the lemon (preferably organic) in hot water, cut into wedges and serve with the grilled king crab legs.
